Yong Chun Fo Shou Oolong Tea

Fo Shou(佛手), meaning Buddha's hand, and often translated Buddha's palm.

Yongchun(永春), is a county in Fujian province of China. Yongchun is located in Quanzhou(泉州) The western part of Yongchun is bordered to the south by Anxi county, a key region in oolong tea production.

 

Yong Chun Fo Shou is produced in the mountains in Sukeng、Yudou and Guiyang counties,Fujian province. Yong Chun Fo Shou firstly produced in North Song Dynasty.

 

The tea gets its name not only because that the leaf likes the leaf of bergamot,but also because that the aroma of the tea is likes the fragrant of bergamot.

 

The form of Yong Chun Fo Shou is strong、tight and curled,the color is dark-green,the aroma is denseness,the taste is sweet,the soup is bright and orange.During being steeped,the aroma just like the hand of Buddha.

 

Yong Chun Fo Shou has many funtions ,such as drop blood pressure and bloodfat,intenerate blood vessel of heart and brain,reduce fatness,be good to assimilation,etc.

 

The main processes of making Yong Chun Fo Shou include: air-green、solarization、fanning、rock-green、reduce-green、kneading and first-baking、first-wraping and kneading、second-baking、second-wraping and kneading、drying.
